Axtion Systems Corporation

Amtrak awards contract to Axtion Systems Corporation to replace the now inoperative communications hardware and software for the Acela Wireless Data Radio Project.  The new hardware and software will take advantage of Verizon’s EVDO data communications technology to provide real time health monitoring data of the Acela high speed train sets in the northeast corridor.

Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority awards contract to Axtion Systems Corporation to implement a new Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system to provide real-time train status to phone customers.  The system will also provide real time train status to the CCJPA web site.

Metrolink extends the Project Management Services contract to include system design and development management of the new Electronic Passenger Information System.

Amtrak awards contract to Axtion Systems Corporation to implement a new National Train Activity Monitoring System (NTAMS).  NTAMS will track all of Amtrak’s trains equipped with the Qualcomm QTracs location system and provide more accurate estimated time of arrival at all stations in ARROW and JULIE.

Amtrak awards contract to Axtion Systems Corporation to implement a Passenger Information Delivery System within the Washington section of the Pacific Northwest Corridor. The Washington stations will integrate with the Oregon PIDS service.
